Excellent and Sturdy Less-Expensive Substitute. I sat in the original designer version of these and found they were no more sturdy than this set, nor particularly more good-looking. Have had guests of all shapes and sizes sit in these comfortably with no issues. Appear just as in photo and come very very carefully wrapped such as to avoid any and all possible scratches. Visible seaming (as you can see in the photo) is the only major difference between these and the more expensive versions. .
Love These Chairs.. So far so good! it's only been 2 days since we've had these chairs but i absolutely love them. They look just like the picture and are comfortable. They appear to be pretty sturdy. My husband sat in them and he's 6'1", 200 lbs and he said it felt sturdy. Haven't really had a chance to break them in, but i am happy thus far. They only thing is that i ordered these specifically because it said that they each weighed 30 lbs, so i chose them because i thought they would be sturdier. They are definitely not 30 lbs each, more like 10lbs at the most (my 4 year old can pick them up), but like i said before, they do feel pretty sturdy. Can't wait to have our first dinner party and see what everyone else thinks!.
