It gets 4 stars as a very nice table made of a wood that is extremely dense and heavy. Seller waived shipping since the table was 2+ months in arriving. However, upon solving that problem another one arose in trying to fasten the legs to the table top via the joists mentioned in each corner. The table was given to a relative. Then superior contacted via amazon and asked if a replacement was desired which was not having bought another table locally which took about 15 minutes to assemble and due also to the fact the table was given away already.
So, if you buy this table or i suppose anything from this buyer which table by the way is very nice, and there is a problem, they will make it right because they did so with us. I love this table. It is the same length as the previous kitchen table. Good and solid table. Beautiful table.
On the down side: it weighed 30 pounds heavier than what's listed in the description (possibly packaging); the wrench included is made of soft metal and not possible to tighten the bolt enough without slipping; it took an hour just to get into the packaging (which also protected the table very well); the staples, holding the legs in place on the bottom of the table with straps, break when trying to pull them out. Keep in mind that this big and heavy table has special delivery needs. We just received our table today. The table was inside with four legs and eight screws with two washers each. I bought the chairs through mosha home furnishings, and the table through amazon prime.

Well, it's a perfect match for the chairs and the cabinets in our dining room, plus this is a heavy well built table. This table has no leaf, so it is long. Joined Wood Surface. The table surface is actually joined pieces of wood similar to butcher block but not as noticeable. There are "z" or zigzag patterns on the ends where the wood blocks have been joined. I was not expecting that. It is very heavy and appears solid. I just have a problem with the surface appearance. Also, the first one arrived broken. This is the second one and has a pretty good nick on the side, but i kept it anyway. For the money, i guess it's not a bad deal. .
Nice Table, But. Received this table yesterday. I had first bought a used one through prime, but it was in bad shape upon arrival. Even the shipper delivering it said not to except it. But amazon was great and gave us our money back and a bonus credit for the issue. So we bought a new one. It was delivered right on time. The package was fully intact. And no damages to the table. It was a breeze to assemble, four legs and your done. Very solid construction. Only downfall i see is in the corner attachments. The whole table is solid hardwood, but were the legs attach to the corners on the table they used a soft white wood like pine. I can see this being a weak link in the tables future. And the top is an artificial butcher block laminate surface. The funny thing is the top is a solid piece of natural wood. You can see the beautiful wood grain pattern on the underside, but they covered it with a thin laminate on top. It’s new to me, but kind of afraid to use it. Seems it would be easily scratched and also worried about glass condensation rings. I guess time will tell. All and all a great looking solid table. No regrets. .
