Detailed First Impression Review!. I hope this proves to be a helpful review to those out there who are interested in this chair. I just received the chair today and i placed my order two days ago (i used prime shipping via a free 30 day trial). I'm pleased that it arrived safely, despite the package having traveled through more than half a dozen shipping sites throught pa, oh, ky, and tx. When the box arrived it had a large gash in the side of the box and was covered with clear packing tape. The chair was not assembled and came with zero instructions. There weren't any scratches on the legs or the faux leather, but the faux leather was a little dirty at the top. Since there were no instructions, it probably took me 20 minutes to put the chair together. There were 4 long screws, 4 medium screws, one lone screw that was a little shorter than the rest, 9 washers, and a little allen wrench. There are no extra parts, so you want to be sure not to lose any pieces. I used the medium screws for the two front legs, the lone screw in the middle of the back of the seat/chair, and the 4 long screws to attach the back legs to the back of the seat. It may not make sense right now, but if you buy the chair and have to assemble it yourself it will make more sense. After i assembled the chair, i tried to velcro the back seat flap down. It is kind of short but i stretched it slowly and attached a little bit at a time and eventually got the flap to stay down. I also posted a photo of what the back flap looks like when it's velcroed down. Now for the chair! it is very attractive and bright white. The fabric is soft but the other reviewers are right, it will get dirty super easily. A soft damp rag should wipe off most messes, just don't let anything set and dry on it. If you get pen or marker on it, you're probably doomed. I suppose most people won't have to worry about that but i do because i purchased this to be an office chair. I'm a student and i intend on spending a lot of time in the seat, so i'm grateful that, thus far, it seems squishy. Another thing some other reviewers mentioned is that the backside of the chair was not very attractive, and i agree. I feel like the manufacturer could do something to cover where all the fabric is pulled and sewn together to make it better looking. Also, for those who are plus size and worried about the weight support: it seems fine for me! i am a size 24 in an avg us jean size and it seems just fine (so far). I'm happy with my purchase and i hope that this review will help fellow shoppers make a decision that is right for them. I will post an update after i get some use out of this if anything changes for the negative. Update - january 9, 2014: i want to sincerely apologize for the lack of photographs. I deliberately took detailed photos of how the box arrived, how the chair wasn't assembled, how the pieces were wrapped, how the back of the chair appears, and a good photo of the true (bright) white color of the chair. I uploaded and submitted the photos to amazon in my original post and i do not understand why the photos never made it live with my review. I cannot upload them again because i have already removed the photos from my phone. I had intentions to be helpful to other amazon shoppers. I 'm sorry!.
