Great purchase. This table was so heavy when delivered, the delivery company had trouble unloading it off the truck. He said his shipping info showed it weighed 200 lbs. He suggested that it was a two person job to get into the house. He was not exaggerating.
I still have the pallet he used sitting on my garage floor wondering where i am supposed to put it as that is really heavy as well. Assembly of this table was simple. It took less that 20 minutes to get it completed. Better to remove the leaf, which adds to the weight, when putting together. This will allow you to turn the table upright much easier.
Coaster newhouse dining table in cherry. Fantastic price. It is real wood not mdf or particle board. Assembly consists of 2 bolts in each leg - took much longer to get it out of the box than to put the legs on. Perfect width for 2 people to sit across from each other and still have dishes between their place settings - oddly this was a concern with many smaller tables we looked at.
Leaf goes in & out nicely. Lovely cherry finish. Very pleased.

Perfect width for 2 people to sit across from each other and still have dishes between their place settings - oddly this was a concern with many smaller tables we looked at. This table is really good, it looks very solid, and believe me it is, standing very strong on its legs. The only bad thing is that the extension part is not kept on the table itself and it takes a lot of space to store, so if you do not care about that space, this table is a great one to have. We bought this table because we already had matching chairs (we had found them at a furniture outlet) and the price was right. Then, to top it off, the mechanism that helps you remove the extension leaf was bashed in and it was impossible to remove the leaf.
They are sending delivery guys to pack up the table, and gave us a full refund with no problems. This table is heavy duty and beautiful, the chairs match with black leather cushion (not dark green like in the picture)assembly was fairly quick and easy. I love this set.
